Brits who are planning on jetting abroad in the future, maybe to the sun-kissed sights around Cyprus villas, may soon experience changes to security when passing through a UK airport.
Government ministers are preparing to unveil plans to change the way holiday makers go through security stations at travel hubs across the country.
Such measures could mean that individuals no longer need to take off their belt or shoes when in this location, with the aim to give a greater level of flexibility when screening aircraft passengers.
Aviation minister Theresa Villiers told the Daily Telegraph: "What we are looking for is a better security outcome and we want this done in a more passenger-friendly way."
Once leaving an airport on flights to villas in Cyprus, holiday makers look to be treated to sights embraced with clean and healthy water.
This is after the European Environment Agency and the European Commission noted that the island had 100 per cent of bathing waters in line with guide and mandatory values.
