Cyprus hosts 'grape festival'
Taking place in Koilani, one of the country's traditional wine-growing areas, the festival is a celebration of the harvest and an opportunity for tourists and visitors to get together and sample some of the region's fine wines.
According to What's on When, visitors will have the opportunity to indulge in some wine-tasting, sample palouze, which is a traditional desert made from grape juice and take a stroll around some of the exhibitions and open air markets.
Local agricultural products and crafts made by local villagers will also be on sale, which is ideal for visitors hoping to take home an authentic gift from their holiday.
Meanwhile, there are plenty of other events also taking place in Cyprus over the coming months, including Cyprus Independence Day on October 1st, the Kypria Festival and Ayia Napa International Festival.
