Cyprus holidays 'even more popular'

The number of passengers making their way to Larnaca Airport climbed by more than 12 per cent while passenger numbers to Paphos Airport were up five per cent in June, according to the Famagusta Gazette.

Citing figures from the to the Civil Aviation Department, it was reported that both airports also recorded increases in July as more and more holiday makers head to the scorching Mediterranean island.

A short drive from Paphos airport is the popular resort of Coral Bay, which has a large selection of villas for the family with its range of shops, restaurants and bars as well as a beach that offers numerous watersport activities.

Anybody renting a villa in the area could immerse themselves in the country's culture by ordering a Greek Cypriot meze in one of the many traditional tavernas at the resort.
