Cyprus holidays 'cater to everyone'

Marios Christodoulou, a spokesperson for tourism organisation Love Cyprus, has commented that Cyprus holidays have much to offer families, couples, business travellers and more.

The island has 52 blue flag beaches and a variety of high quality activities, including diving, cycling, nature trails and golfing, Mr Christodoulou observed.

And while a number of celebrities are thought to frequent Cyprus, the destination's popularity by no means depends on its high-profile fans, he added.

"Cyprus is getting more and more popular as it is undergoing increasing development for tourism and special interest tourism," the Love Cyprus representative asserted.

A significant number of people who take Cyprus holidays are classed as repeat visitors, returning to the island time and time again to relive good times, states Kypros-Net.

The website asserts that one of Cyprus's main attractions for Brits is the large number of English-speaking people on the island.
