Cyprus holidays 'a great option' for summer
Cyprus holidays are a "great option" for people hoping to escape for a couple of weeks over the summer months, according to British Airways.
The airline identified Paphos as one of the top destinations to visit on the island.
Located on the south-western tip of Cyprus, the town is home to plenty of beaches, as well as historical attractions such as the Kato Paphos archaeological area and the Tombs of the Kings.
Travellers planning to visit this part of the island during a Cyprus holiday can book villas in Latchi, Pomos Beach and other popular resorts.
British Airways offers flights to Paphos from London Gatwick, where it has recently carried out a "punctuality drive" to increase the number of services departing on time.
The airline also highlighted the popularity of Florida holidays among British travellers heading overseas for the summer.
Orlando and Tampa are among the top destinations on British Airways' long-haul network from Gatwick, which has been expanded this year to include 52 weekly departures to 13 locations.
