Cyprus holiday 'good for all seasons'
The Galway Advertiser notes that the third-largest Mediterranean island bathes visitors in a spectacular 340 days of sun each year.
As such, anyone planning a trip to the isle need not worry about bending their desires to its climate - Cyprus is ready for fun-seekers all the time.
With first-rate beaches and clear, sparkling waters, the publication observes that the lack of pollution on the island is a big draw for many people who book Cyprus holidays.
Indeed, Brits who head to the shores can be promised a friendly atmosphere, with 95 per cent of road signs reportedly in English and a strong English-speaking culture.
Holiday makers who like to feel at home while relaxing on their villa break can also find solace in the fact that cars are driven on the left.
The country has made the news this week when Ledra Street was reopened and unified as an array of coloured balloons were released to mark the occasion, said by some to be a symbol of peace.
