Cyprus gearing up for exciting Troodos Rally
In what could be an adrenalin-filled rush for those on a villa holiday, the penultimate round of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship will take place from November 7th to November 9th, the Famagusta Gazette has reported.
The racers will start their engines in Geroroskipou, a quiet coastal town near Paphos.
"A carnival atmosphere will pervade the scene with music and entertainment for an hour before the start, while a VIP stage will be set up next to the start ramp with cocktails and refreshments served," according to organisers.
Villa holiday makers looking for their own quiet coastal town near Paphos may elect to stay in St George, Coral Bay, which offers a simple spot to unwind and relax after the exertions of watching the rally race.
