Cultural festivals can provide entertainment during Cyprus holidays
Many different festivals take place across the island and during March holiday makers staying in a family villa in Cyprus should head to the village of Kalavasos.
Taking place on March 24th and 25th, the festival celebrates the Feast of the Annunciation and it is also celebrated in Kilrou.
Local crafts, food and live music are all to be expected by visitors travelling to Cyprus in the new holiday season.
A visit to the island could involve seeing local art displays in the museums or a visit to one of the many archaeological sites that cover the area.
Cyprus has lots of ancient history to discover including archaeological sites from the Bronze Age and Greek and Phoenician settlements from the Iron Age.
The Mediterranean climate brings warm temperatures and blue skies making a Cyprus holiday the perfect occasion to enjoy a relaxing break by a private pool.
