Brits to take advantage of Cyprus villa deals as Euro slides against pound?
Brits seeking Cyprus villa deals may be in luck, as the Euro has fallen against the pound, meaning it is going to be cheaper for UK tourists to holiday in the eurozone.
One pound now equates to €1.21, meaning that holiday makers will be able to get a lot more for their money.
Travellers from the UK are being urged to book their holidays now, as they are bound to find some bargains.
The strength of the Great British Pound also means that people on holiday will be able to live more luxuriously when they are away.
It has not been a good day for the Euro in terms of exchange rates, as it slid against 14 of its 16 most-traded counterparts, including the dollar and the yen.
The Euro is traded in 17 countries, including tourism hotspots Spain, France and Greece, and cash-strapped Brits are likely to take advantage of the chance for a cheaper holiday.
