Book a Cyprus villa holiday for a dancing extravaganza
People seeking art and culture on a Cyprus villa holiday should attend the renowned European Dance Festival.
An annual highlight, the event starts in May and is held at Limassol's Rialto Theatre.
The Cyprus Events website describes it as a "feast of contemporary dance", where people can witness "the dynamics and the new forms of the international contemporary scene through the works of representative groups of each country".
The festival is organised by the Ministry of Education and Culture, in cooperation with embassies from Greece, Italy, Austria, Spain, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherlands, the French Cultural Centre, the Goethe Zentrum and the British Council.
Holiday makers can also indulge in a taste of Cyprus culture with live Bouzouki music and dancing in the town squares.
The more adventurous may wish to take a jeep safari into the Troodoos Mountains, and visit the highest point on the island at Mount Olympus.
