Turkish newspaper Sabah, boasts that the Magosa-Karpaz desert will soon be home to five-star hotels, a shopping centre and a 350-yacht marina.

"The projects include hotels that will resemble Italy's coliseum, Babel's Gardens, Artemis' temple and Noah's Ark," it says.
