Kevin Brock of the Manchester Evening News said the fun hits another level when golfers reach the "infamous" seventh tee at the championship standard golf course.
However, before taking to the green, he was offered tips from Russell Evans - one of the PGA-qualified professionals working at the golf academy.
"The academy has first-class practice facilities," he claimed, adding holiday makers can even have their swing analysed by one of the pros with the help of the latest technology.
Within a matter of moments, Mr Brock sad the pro had identified two significant faults in his game.
"Under his expert guidance during the one-hour private lesson I was soon hitting the ball longer and straighter," he said.
Holiday makers can rent a villa in the beautiful resort - and those who get so excited by its can even get married at the on-site wedding chapel.
