Aphrodite Hills golf club, Cyprus
The Aphrodite Hills club in Cyprus will welcome players on golf holidays to its Summer Open 2007 on August 18th.
The tournament follows a two-player team format for men playing off a less than 28 handicap and women off a less than 36.
Visitors pay CY£48, with members of UK golf clubs paying CY£38. Aphrodite Hills members pay CY£18.
This amount includes green fee and buggy hire, along with a buffet lunch and other refreshments.
Entry forms can be downloaded from the club's official website for early bookings.
The golf club is situated near Paphos as part of the Aphrodite Hills resort.
The 18-hole course was designed by Cabell B. Robinson, and wends its way through a stunning, lake-dotted landscape of carob and olive trees.
Special offers from Aphrodite Hills for this month involve free introductory golf demonstrations for resort residents every Monday and Thursday, as well as a 20 per cent discount on golfing attire at the club's shop throughout August.
