Aphrodite Hills claims plaudits

The News of the World reports the singer spent a long weekend at the Aphrodite Hills resort and visitors to the island could enjoy a similarly relaxed holiday by heading to a Cyprus villa.

Situated near Aphrodite bay, said to be the birthplace of the legendary goddess, the area is an ideal destination for people planning a cheap holiday, with beautiful beaches and a wealth of history.

"The area is wonderfully unspoilt," the newspaper points out.

Aphrodite Hills is a short trip from Paphos airport, offering visitors on a holiday in Cyprus the chance to get straight into the holiday spirit within minutes of arriving on the tarmac.

The resort includes an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts and spa, while shoppers will be delighted to know the resort's Village Square provides a large variety of stores for them to enjoy.
