Villa in Crete may provide base for Inbetweeners filming
The cast of the hit show The Inbetweeners could be staying in a villa in Crete as they start work on their new movie on the Greek island.
According to the Sun, actor Simon Bird has now agreed a deal to star in the film, meaning the entire original cast will take part.
And the stunning backdrop of Crete has been chosen as the spot to begin filming the early shots.
"The original cast are all back together for the Inbetweeners film and have started work on the movie over in Crete," a source tells the newspaper.
It is thought the movie will see the four teenagers – Will, Simon, Jay and Neil – head on a foreign holiday.
Fans of the show hoping to get a closer look at the location for the movie could choose to take a holiday in a Crete villa in the coming weeks.
The third series of The Inbetweeners is due to begin next month.
