Take up Crete villas 'to see stunning spring bloom views'
There is a wealth of wonderful sites to see when taking a Crete villa holiday this year, those planning a getaway may be interested to hear.
For nature lovers, Daily Mail writer Jenny Cowley has recommended a trip to the mountains, as the spring blooms reveals an array of colour from "142 species of orchid".
While up in the mountain regions of the Greek island, holiday makers occupying Crete villas should also check out the ski slopes which can be found in some parts.
Once back down on the lower levels, families can treat themselves to an array of "Bond Street-style jewellers and fur shops", while indulging in temperatures of up to 95F at times.
When it comes to visiting Crete, Explore Crete has noted that people have the choice of either taking up villas in the more tourist-oriented northern parts of the island, or the southern areas, which are brimming of luxury isolated beaches.
