Re-tracing the steps of Thesues

The palace of Knossos is a maze of passageways that will keep holiday makers occupied for hours on end.

But visitors won't be unlucky enough to risk mortal peril by getting lost in the maze that was said to be the home of the Minotaur.

Visitors can see the 'Horns of Consecration' that acted as a symbol of Crete's strength in the outside world.

The maze of Knossos is one of the legendary stories of Greek tradition and holiday makers will enjoy the chance to re-trace the steps of Theseus as he tried to find his way out the maze.

Crete also offers a chance to relax in the warm Mediterranean climates and enjoy the walks through the island's rugged terrain.
