People of all ages 'will enjoy stay in Crete villa'
Families thinking of booking a stay in a villa in Crete over the coming months should rest assured all of their loved ones will enjoy themselves.
In the opinion of Heidi Fuller-Love, travel writer for eastcretemagazine.com, the popular Greek island offers something for people of all ages.
"Different parts of Crete appeal to different age groups," she explains, adding a spot like Malia is ideal for those between 18 and 25, while Chania and its surrounding area is perfect for loved-up couples, as well as families.
And holiday makers hoping to sample an authentic slice of the island should head to Sitia, where pursuits such as sea kayaking and trekking are available.
"As Greece's biggest island, Crete is an increasingly popular holiday destination," Ms Fuller-Love concludes, noting its climate is a particular draw.
One product that tourists should try while on holiday in Crete is olive oil, with Quest Greek Islands magazine recently suggesting it is some of the best around.
