EasyJet offering new access to Greece villa holidays
Brits will have more chances to take up Greece villa holidays next year, thanks to new flights being introduced by EasyJet.
The well-known airline will be bringing fresh flight paths to the country from London Gatwick airport from the spring of 2012.
Operating from the end of April until the latter half of October, EasyJet will operate three weekly services from the British travel hub to the Greek island of Kefalonia.
Paul Simmons, the UK director of EasyJet, commented: "Our new route to Kefalonia from Gatwick adds even more choice for passengers seeking an easy and affordable sunshine getaway next year."
Once in Kefalonia, holiday makers can take trips to eye-catching harbour scenes, glimpse upon a carved underground lake and explore ancient Roman ruins.
People with a love for history should also consider taking up a stay in Crete villas, with the Greek island presenting such awe-inspiring sights as the Palace of Knossos and Iraklion's Archaeological Museum.
