Musical concerts, theatrical performances, contemporary and traditional dance shows, art exhibitions and cinema screenings are all part of the summer timetable.

The bars of the town, meanwhile, play host to a wine festival in the warmest months, showcasing the island's fine wines for connoisseurs on Crete holidays.
According to Travemole, the European Travel Commission’s (ETC) European Tourism Insights report revealed that Greece was among the countries that enjoyed increased sector activity last year.
