Crete villas: Take time to acquire right travel insurance

Holiday makers have been urged to make sure they have the right travel insurance in place before heading on a getaway, such as to Crete villas.

Comparison website Squaremouth.com has given families some advice so that they can be assured of being covered, should things take a turn for the worse while abroad.

Sarah Byrne, marketing manager at the organisation, pointed out: "Understanding the basics of buying travel insurance is the best way to find a travel insurance policy."

As a result, Squaremouth.com has advised holiday makers to refrain from waiting until the last minute to take out cover, as they could lose out vital coverage by choosing this strategy.

Furthermore, the site has encouraged that people should take plenty of time to compare the prices and policies of different travel insurance documents, so that they can be sure of getting the best deal for them.

Tourists will not want to waste any time once they are in villas in Crete, seeing as though the Greek island has archaeological sites such as Knossos and Gortys to explore, as well as a golden coastline to bask on.
