Crete villas: Females look to avoid snapshots
Many women from the UK who are preparing to relax on a getaway, such as to Crete villas, are hoping to avoid the camera lens when doing so.
This is according to new findings by Venture Photography, which has suggested that 24 per cent of females do not feel comfortable when in front of a camera anytime during their holiday.
Meanwhile, 58 per cent would rather not get involved in a snap while they are in their swimwear, with another seven per cent looking to avoid the lens' glare when on a day trip during their stay abroad.
However, this is despite the average woman in the UK spending £135 on pampering products before travelling overseas.
Richard Mayfield, creative director at Venture Photography, commented: "I think many women feel pressure from being bombarded with pictures of celebrities on the beach at this time of year, but this shouldn't stop people capturing some great memories of their holidays on camera."
There are many places around villas in Crete which make great photo opportunities though, even if fashionistas are not in them, including amazing sights in Knossos and Gortys.
