Chania 'a wonderful place to visit'

An article for Quest Bulgaria Property Magazine points out that Chania's old town is considered one of the most beautiful places on the island.

"Even the modern part of the town, where the locals are based has areas of real charm and beauty," it states.

According to the publication, Chania is the second largest town in Crete, located on the northern coast.

Despite attracting a large number of tourists, the town has managed to retain its authentic Greek feel.

And there is plenty for tourists to do, from exploring on foot and visiting ancient churches to simply relaxing on the beach.

The article claims that some the most attractive features of Chania are its beautiful Venetian architecture and its pretty harbour.

Holiday makers could relax here and enjoy some local Greek cuisine while watching the fishing boats come and go.

Families could rent Crete villas in Stalos, which is close to Chania. From here, the island of Theodorou is also just a short boat trip out to sea and could make another great day trip.
