Kolymbari in Crete
Kolymbari is a small fishing port between Chania and Kissamos, set between the sea and the cliffs at the foot of the Rodopou Penninsula. The village offers a long pebbly beach and seafront promenade lined with inviting traditional tavernas, shops and waterfront cafes. Here you can also see the fascinating Odigitrias Gonias Monastery with its remarkable icons.

The villa was great for a family of 5. Very spacious. the location in a small village was good as there were tavernas and shops in easy reach. Views from the villa were fantastic. The area id very rural but beautiful and well worth exploring.
