Organisers in the beautiful port of Cartagena are busy preparing the line-up and getting in touch with top intentional acts who will be performing in the city during the month.
According to Whatsonwhen, since the first La Mar de Musicas event was organised back in 1995, it has snowballed and is now thought to be "one of the best festivals of global sounds in Europe".
This year's theme is reported to be France with acts performing at the Auditorio Parque Torres and other great venues across the city.
