Football legends take a Costa Calida busman's holiday
The competition kicks off on June 6th and more than 120 former top-flight players will descend on Costa Calida for the occasion.
According to organisers the celebrities who will be taking part include "Alan McInally, David Speedie, Dave Beasant, Gary Owen, Paul Jewell, Sammy Nelson, Steve Bull, Mike England, Pat Jennings, Des Walker, Matt Le Tissier, Garry Parker and Mike Newell."
Football - and sport in general - is never far away from the agenda at La Manga, with David Beckham having visited there in the past and the Celtic Football squad training at the resort earlier this year.
Costa Calida translates as the warm coast - and holiday makers renting a villa in La Manga may be sure of a warm welcome in the resort's spa, which boasts jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms as well as a gymnasium and fitness studio.
