Flamenco fun on a Costa Calida villa holiday
The Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas will take place from August 6th to 15th at La Union in Murcia.
Numerous performances will be taking place, with song, dance and guitar music, as well as lively parties, all on the agenda.
Competitions will also be held to discover the best flamenco talent.
Visitors will be able to watch some of Spain's best dancers and musicians in action and even have a go themselves.
Exhibitions, book and video presentations, poetry recitals and courses in guitar playing and percussion also make up the event's schedule.
Those hoping to be in Murcia for the festival could rent a Costa Calida villa at the Mar Menor Golf Resort, which is just a 35 minute drive away from the town.
It also boasts a nine-hole golf course and plenty of children's activities, which could be great for those with young ones.
