Costa Calida attracts another football star

Filippo Galli has visited La Manga Club and while he was there announced the Rossoneri will be using the resort as a base for a series of training camps this summer.

The famous football club will be training boys and girls aged six to 17 years for two weeks in early July.

Organisers say: "The seven-day training camps will see youngsters combine training under the auspices of experienced AC Milan coaches with a variety of entertainment and recreational activities."

According to representatives of La Manga, the announcement is the "latest high-profile endorsement of the resort's footballing facilities".

This year, Glasgow Celtic and Sheffield United have both spent time at the destination in preparation for important games.

Meanwhile, celebrities such as David Beckham and Matt Damon have also signed the guestbook in recent times.
