Calblanque Nature Reserve is 'the unspoilt Mediterranean'
Those on a Costa Calida villa holiday who want to discover what Spain was like thousands of years ago may want to visit the Calblanque Natural Park.
The unspoilt area is virtually untouched by tourism and remains as beautiful today as it was when the waves lapped the beautiful beaches long before Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile were married to form the modern Kingdom of Spain.
Everyone from naturists to watersport enthusiasts flock to the reserve to sample its array of natural beauty.
Mars Brook Boating, which offers windsurfing courses in the area, champions the coastline that can be found at the Calblanque Natural Park, "a remote area of gorgeous sandy beaches backed by rocky hills accessible only by a dirt track".
Holiday makers seeking a relaxing break can visit the park in between enjoying the range of calming activities that are available at the exclusive La Manga Resort.
