Now held every third Thursday in each month, the event offers a special evening for wine enthusiasts who like nothing better than talking about their favourite tipple during a warm Mediterranean evening.
It takes place in the Piano Bar in La Manga and selected wines are also available to purchase at bargain prices, so anything with a beautiful bouquet can be taken back to the villa and enjoyed besides a private pool with a selection of cheeses.
All are welcome - from amateur to professionals - and those who need some advice on how to guess the age of a wine can follow advice from the Wine Doctor.
The site claims that the colour of a red wine is an excellent indication of its age with many reds starting life as "deep purple colour", but through age they will take on a "paler, tawny, brick red hue".
"Initially this appears at the rim of the wine, but as the years go by the whole wine will take on this colour, fading to a brick red or brown," it adds.
