'Fine art and fine weather' on a Costa Calida holiday
If you like the finer things in life, then a Costa Calida holiday could be for you.
The city of Murcia boasts the Museo de Bellas Artes - or the Museum of Fine Arts - and it includes works by some of the world's finest painters.
According to Whatsonwhen, it houses close to 1,000 beautiful and important works of art.
Creators such as Jusepe de Ribera, Francisco Ribalta, Jocopo Bassano, Jose de Madrazo y Agudo and Pablo Picasso are all represented at the museum.
While in the city, holiday makers can also visit Murcia's Archaeological Museum and the Museo Salzillo, which houses a large collection of religious sculptures.
Those who stay in the Mar Menor Golf Resort could visit Murcia for a day - providing they can tear themselves away from sunning themselves in the beautiful Murcian countryside, playing on a Jack Niklaus-designed golf course, or relaxing in the resort's spa.
