Visit a Spanish vineyard on a Costa Blanca holiday

Those heading off on Costa Blanca villa holidays will be able to sample their fair share of quality Spanish wine.

But for those who really want to get to grips with the flavours of the region could head to the Bodega del Garroferal vineyard near Murla.

Located in the heart of the Jalon Valley, this beautiful estate is set amongst almond groves and orange tree orchards and is a spectacular sight to behold.

It is owned by Peter Arnold Wines, whose products all have musical names, such as Rhapsody, Sonata and Overture.

The winery produces red, whites and roses and each has a distinctive personality.

Costa Blanca holiday makers can visit the vineyard and see for themselves how the wines are produced.

They will also be able to taste the produce for themselves and buy bottles of any that take their fancy.

Costa Blanca villas are available to rent in the Jalon Valley, which is just inland from the popular coastal resort of Calpe.

It offers traditional Spanish charm and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and wildlife spotting.
