See a Spanish first on a Costa Blanca holiday
According to Torrevieja.com, the Spanish Association of Barbershop Singers known as Sabs will host a weekend of "singing, coaching and camaraderie" in the resort as part of the First Festival of Barbershop Singing in Spain.
Members of Sabs will be performing be performing on June 6th in the En Armonia Show at the Virgen del Carmen Centro Cultura in Torrevieja and you could be there to hear them.
"The show will include barbershop choruses and quartets from all over Spain and topping the bill will be [the] British gold medallists Finesse ladies quartet," the newspaper said.
Barbershop harmony is characterised as the singing of unaccompanied vocal music which involves four-part chords for every melody note in a predominantly homophonic texture, according to the British Association of Barbershop Singers - so it could be music to the ears of Costa Blanca holiday makers.
