Grab yourself a late deal >See Mark Knopfler live on a Costa Blanca holiday
There will be some classy entertainment on offer to people taking Costa Blanca villa holidays this year when Mark Knopfler brings his European tour to Spain.
The veteran rocker, who enjoyed huge success with Dire Straits in the 1970s and 80s, will play live at the Plaza de Toros in Murcia on July 24th.
Knopfler will visit several European countries over the coming months to showcase material from his latest solo album Get Lucky, which was released last year.
The singer and guitarist first arrived on the British music scene in 1978 when Dire Straits' released their self-titled debut album, which went double platinum and reached number five in the UK charts.
Fans who make it to the show in Murcia during a Costa Blanca villa holiday this year will hope to hear live renditions of some of the band's biggest hits, such as Money for Nothing, Sultans of Swing and Private Investigations.
Knopfler will visit several other popular holiday destinations during his tour, including Nimes in the south of France on July 22nd and Barcelona in north-east Spain the following day.
