Grab yourself a late deal >Ridley Scott to shoot new movie in Alicante
Brits who snap up villas in Costa Blanca during the latter months of the year could be able to see some of the biggest names in Hollywood in action.
Speaking to CBNews, a spokesman of the Ciudad de la Luz studios commented that preparations are now underway to bring well-known movie director Ridley Scott to Alicante to film scenes for a new blockbuster.
Prometheus has been hyped as a prequel to the critically-acclaimed Alien series, which is rumoured to be set in the same universe as the sci-fi saga but not directly connected to the storyline.
Installations for filming around Alicante have been booked until December 10th, with filming likely to get underway later in September.
People booking Costa Blanca villas may also be able to spot Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce and Noomi Rapace during their stay, as each Hollywood star are to appear in Prometheus.
The news comes soon after it was revealed that Mallorca will be the setting for Cloud Atlas, a new movie featuring Tom Hanks and Halle Berry in its credits.
