Rent a Costa Blanca villa ahead of the pack!
People considering a Costa Blanca villa holiday may be interested to learn that the region could be more popular with British tourists in the future.
That is according to website Costa News, which suggested the tourism sector is expecting UK visitor numbers to rise in 2010.
It cited regional tourism chief Belen Juste, who was speaking at the recent World Travel Market tourism fair in London.
A number of strategies to attract more holiday makers to the Costa Blanca were discussed at the event, while an expansion project at Alicante Airport was also promoted.
The website reports the hub will be able to handle as many as 20 million passengers a year by 2011, which could make the province even more popular with Costa Blanca villa holiday makers.
Meanwhile, it was revealed earlier this month that the region is now covered by the Google Street View service.
Using the online tool, users can see the area in which they plan to rent a Costa Blanca villa before-hand and also peruse the surrounding area for attractions such as restaurants or bars.
