New reasons to choose a Costa Blanca villa
According to euroweeklynews.com, the pair of beaches on the Costa Blanca have been awarded the Ecoplayas 2008 flag.
Just four such flags have been granted in the whole of Spain this year and it comes in recognition of facilities as well as environmentally-friendly infrastructure.
The portal notes that the Ampolla and La Fustera beaches, located in Teulada and Benissa respectively, were judged based on quality of water, ease of access and a design that fits in with the natural landscape.
In particular the latter was recognised for efforts to conserve the endangered Posidonia plant, which provides shelter and oxygen for other marine creatures.
Costa Blanca is an ideal family villa destination, with a variety of shops, bars and restaurants in addition to its famous beaches.
James Villas has a number of villas within a 30-minute walk of the town centre.
