Netball nuts may be attracted to a Costa Blanca holiday

Javea Netball club play every Wednesday at L'Ancora Tennis club and the side is keen to attract holiday makers staying in the area to come and watch - and those who cut the mustard could even put on a bib and show off their skills on the court, Round Town News reveals.

The publication reported that an international netball competition recently took place on the Costa Blanca with four sides from the UK and two from Marbella competing to be the best of the best.

Anita Grayson of Javea Netball club said: "This was a demanding competition, each match was hard fought. Some of the shooting was breathtaking, while defenders made skilful intercepts."

Those who rent a villa in the resort will be staying in a place that is off the beaten track to give the feeling of really being able to get away from it all.

By hopping into their hire car, holiday makers can visit the sandy Arenal beach, check out the palm-lined promenade and even see street performers in the evening.
