Model railway brings a piece of UK to Costa Blanca
The Model Railway Exhibition Centre was opened by the Catral Model Railway group and visitors can come and receive tuition to drive the trains around the track.
Visitors are also invited to build their own layouts and can also learn about the maintenance and expansion on the exhibit.
Measuring 24 metres long and four metres wide, the Four Mills Model Railway is based on the late 1950s and 1970s and is modelled on the UK so holiday makers can enjoy a piece of home while they are away.
The layout can be changed and a new one based on the Spanish San Isidro station is on its way.
Visiting the model railway can provide holiday makers with a good excursion from the relaxing surroundings of the villa as well as a chance to interact with some of the local people.
