A permanent exhibit dedicated to Alicante's most renowned matadors, the museum celebrates Vicente Blau (El Tino), Francisco Anton (Pacorro) and Vicente Fernandez (El Caracol) among others, according to Whatsonwhen.
Visitors to the museum can also see the Alicante bullring which was built back in 1847 and holds over 15,000 people, Costablancaspain.org says.
The popular resort of Calpe could be the place to base a villa holiday that takes in Alicante and the whole of Costa Blanca.
It also boasts two Blue Flag beaches to ensure that holiday makers who love relaxing under the Mediterranean sun and feeling golden sand between their toes will not be disappointed, while those who prefer a private pool can laze under the same scorching sun back at their villa.
