Experience rich culture and cuisine on a holiday to Spain
Britons planning holidays to Spain this summer can look forward to seeing the country's spectacular architecture, trying the local cuisine and experiencing its vibrant nightlife.
Nadine Hallak, a spokesperson for Cheapflights.co.uk, pointed out that Spanish hotspots such as Alicante - which is the main gateway used by people taking Costa Blanca holidays - and Malaga remain highly popular among UK travellers.
She said that these destinations, along with islands such as Mallorca and Tenerife, offer good weather and easy access to the country's famous beaches.
However, Ms Hallak stressed that people hoping to get the most out of a holiday to Spain should make the effort to get out and experience the country's culture.
"Spain's culture is as rich as its scenery - it would be a shame to miss the country's beautiful architecture, delicious cuisine and vibrant nightlife on any holiday," she said.
"While the sun and sand is certainly enticing, be sure to venture off the beaten track at some point to experience Spain outside of its famous resorts."
People planning to book Costa Blanca villas for a Spanish getaway this summer can choose to stay in destinations such as Denia and Moraira.
