Enjoy beach fun in Altea on a Costa Blanca holiday

According to Round Town News, events are being held on La Roda beach in the Spanish resort during July and August.

They will include yoga and tai chi sessions and lessons in Spanish, while a beach cinema will be arriving to show the latest films on Friday evenings.

Parents relaxing on the beach in Altea will also be able to catch up on some reading at the beach library while their children play in the toy exchange.

Altea is just eight kilometres away from the inland village of La Nucia, where families can rent Costa Blanca villas for their holidays.

La Nucia is a peaceful resort which has a small selection of bars and restaurants and hosts a weekly flea market.

It may therefore be ideal for those who enjoy a more relaxing holiday but who like to visit some of the slightly larger towns and cities on day trips.
