Denia funfair 'up and running'

Denia's Torrequemada esplanade funfair is open every day from 5pm and offers almost 40 rides for children at a cost of €3 (£2.33) each, although on children's days - October 22nd, 29th and November 5th - all rides will be half price, Costa Blanca news reports.

The funfair encapsulates Denia's image as a lively resort that offers a vast array of evening entertainment, from restaurants and eateries to tapas and cocktail bars for the discerning drinker.

Denia boasts a healthy late-night social scene for those that like to let their hair down every once and while and there is a healthy smattering of live music across the resort to tap your toe to.

During the day, villa holiday makers that can tear themselves away from their private pool can even treat themselves to a day trip to one of the beautiful Balearic Islands.
