Costa Blanca villas 'provide gateway for appealing golf courses'
Brits who are seeking out golfing holidays may want to consider booking up villas in Costa Blanca.
David Brice, chief executive of Golf International, pointed out to PGATour.com readers that there are "intriguing golf clusters" within the Spanish destination's regions of Valencia and Alicante.
One of the highlight courses is sure to be the Alicante Golf Club for fans of the sport, seeing as though it was designed by the late Seve Ballesteros.
The Spanish legend, who won five major trophies throughout his glorious career, passed away over the weekend following, so a trip to the attraction is sure to be a perfect homage.
Meanwhile, Valencia offers holiday makers the El Saler Golf Club, which is ranked as Spain's number two course and provides "a totally different and perhaps an even more exhilarating golf experience" than the top venue of Valderrama, in Mr Brice's opinion.
To prepare itself for the high number of expected tourists visiting Costa Blanca villas, Alicante airport has opened up a new terminal in the travel hub.
