Costa Blanca villas offer "best of both worlds"

Golfing enthusiast Alan White and his wife Angela decided to take the plunge and move to the country permanently, they told the Sunday Mail.

The shopping centres, restaurants and golfing facilities combined make the area ideal, the couple explained.

Having considered other parts of Spain, Alan and Angela settled firmly on Costa Blanca because they had enjoyed their visits to the area.

Meanwhile, friends and relatives appreciate the chance to enjoy a Costa Blanca villa break when they visit the couple.

"We'd never move permanently because we want to be close to them but we've got the best of both worlds as we can invite everyone out to Spain with us," explained Alan.

Global Edge recently noted that five of the ten most popular destinations for Britons buying homes abroad are in Spain, with Costa Blanca a particularly prominent location.
