Grab yourself a late deal >Costa Blanca villas: Europe 'perfect choice for short getaways'
Brits who are planning a relaxing summer getaway have been encouraged to explore sites around Europe, starting perhaps with a stay in Costa Blanca villas.
Debbie Goffin, head of sales and marketing at Premier Holidays, believes a city break could be "the perfect solution for those wanting to holiday closer to home".
One of the reasons for this is that Brits need only endure a short travelling time to reach their intended destination.
Ms Goffin added that Europe should be the place to go for these types of breaks, noting the continent as "the perfect choice" for short trips abroad.
"Boasting stunning beaches, cities and culture, there is a wide choice of activates for all to enjoy," the expert went on to say.
Many Brits seem to be seeking getaways across Europe, such as by booking up villas in Costa Blanca, according to a recent ACI EUROPE Airport Traffic Report.
It found that in the first quarter of 2011, overall passenger traffic at airports across the continent was 5.4 per cent higher than the same period last year.
