Costa Blanca villa may inspire permanent move
People who stay in a villa in the Costa Blanca may fall in love with the region to the extent that they wish to move there permanently.
And, according to one expert at least, now is the perfect time to have such feelings, as Spanish property suffers from a price crash that could benefit foreign investors.
Les Calvert, director at Property-Abroad.com, says his firm is enjoying a surge in interest in buying homes in the country.
"You could pick up something really cheap in one of the popular areas of Spain and, from an investment point of view, that would be a wise investment," he states.
One way to find out whether the Costa Blanca is the right place for such a purchase is to spend time in a villa there and explore the surrounding area.
Recent research by Tinsa found property prices have fallen by 4.6 per cent in Spain over the last year and by 17.1 per cent since December 2007.
