Costa Blanca villa ideal for golf holiday

Spending time at a villa on the Costa Blanca in Spain provides golfers with the perfect chance to try out three new courses.

Located in the neighbouring Valencia region, the trio of 18-hole facilities bring the total number in Valencia to 28.

Already home to championship courses like La Sella, the area is now boasting Las Colinas Golf and Country Club, Font del Llop Golf Resort and La Galiana.

People staying in villas on the Costa Blanca are ideally located to play all three, even on a short break.

Timing a stay to coincide with November's International Golf Travel Market 2010 event may be something keen players wish to consider.

The first of the courses, Las Colinas, is carved from a picturesque gorge in the heart of the Spanish countryside, so could attract strong interest.

October's Ryder Cup, which is being contested in Wales, may inspire some people to take a golf holiday.
