Costa Blanca to receive new rail link
People who stay in Costa Blanca villas in the future could be able to take a trip to other popular resorts around Spain.
That is because the regional public works council has revealed details of the new Alicante to Valencia coastal rail link.
Costa Blanca News reports that those who board the train at Alicante will have the chance to pass Muchamiel, Campello, San Vicente, Agost, Monforte, Villajoyosa and Benidorm during their journey.
The project is to cost €1.5 billion (£1.2 billion) and will see Brits being able to get from Alicante airport to Benidorm in around 36 minutes, which could be ideal for a day trip.
Meanwhile, those who book villas in Costa Blanca over the next few months may be able to catch filming for the spiritual prequel to the Aliens movie saga.
Critically-acclaimed director Ridley Scott is set to shoot scenes for his new film Prometheus at the Spanish holiday hot spot, a spokesman from the Ciudad de la Luz studios recently told CBNews.
