Costa Blanca to host new tournament

The first ever Onda Cero International Open Pairs Golf Championship is to be held at Alicante Golf on March 6th 2008 and it is expected to be a huge success.

Some holiday makers may also want to head to the tournament as part of a golfing holiday.

Open to all golfers with proof of a handicap with a maximum of 36 for ladies and 26 for men, the competition will take place at one of the top courses on the Costa Blanca.

Competitors can also enjoy picnic lunches on the course and a three course meal after the tournament.

Golfing holidays to the Spanish coast are very popular with a wide choice of excellent courses coupled with good conditions, particularly in the new holiday season.

According to roundtownnews.co.uk, this is the first time the OCI have been involved in organising a golfing tournament.
